What do when your finish!

When you finish your needlepoint project, the next step is finishing and protecting your work so it looks polished and lasts a long time. Start by gently trimming any loose threads and lightly blocking the canvas to straighten the edges and remove any warping. You can do this by dampening the piece slightly and pinning it flat until it dries. Once it’s dry, decide how you want to display it whether that’s framing it, turning it into a pillow, ornament, or wall hanging. Finally, store or display your piece away from direct sunlight and moisture to prevent fading or damage. Taking these final steps helps your needlepoint look professional and keeps all your hard work looking beautiful.
